High-risk pregnancy

If you have an underlying medical condition like high blood pressure, Diabetes, heart or kidney problems, Asthma or lung conditions, epilepsy or Multiple Sclerosis, your pregnancy is considered high risk. This means we need to see you more frequently, be in contact with the medical team, and provide multi-disciplinary care for you and your baby. Being on the larger side of the scale adds some risk to your pregnancy. We will be with you to help you achieve your best by providing a healthy diet and moderate physical activity. We will refer you to a dietician and help you find the best physical activities that suit you better based on your preferences.
